populated by monsters. The few surviving people hide in the
Moscow metro - in the world's largest nuclear bombproof shelter. The stations of the metro are now city-states, darkness dwells in tunnels and horror nestles.

Dimitry Glukhovsky was born in 1979;
journalist, tv presenter -
and the biggest star of Russian popular literature.
In 2007, he won the "Best European Debut" award.

Metro 2033 has since become a bestseller and is popular in many countries around the world,
and it was also made into a computer game.
